Well we had a quick trip to OH this past weekend. Only a total of 4 days in town, and we somehow managed to squeeze in more visits than I thought was possible. wow. The occasion was for Jill and Nick's wedding (Joseph's sister), and it was beautiful. Beautiful Fall colors for the wedding, which you know I absolutely loved. The only thing un-Fall-like, was the unseasonably warm weather. It was a high of 88 on Friday and Saturday, and pretty humid. Maybe we're just humidity wimps now that we live in West Texas, but good grief (!) we were melting. Here's some pics of the wedding party, guys and gals. Joe's on the far right in the guys pic, and I'm on the far right in the gals pic.
That's Ethan (Jill and Nick's) in his Shrek costume. Ruthie and Luci on the couch with Nana and Poppa; Luci's holding her little kitty; and Sam in his cowboy costume. We all had a delicious birthday cake for all the fall birthdays (Chocolate Spice Cake with Maple Cream Cheese frosting -way to go Maggy!).
We also got to visit with Luke and Emily and see the amazing Megan, born in March. She has the most charming personality... well kinda like her mom and dad.
And lastly, finished up the whirlwind trip with a quick visit with Suzie in Atlanta during our 5 hour layover. Great to see each other again, and spend the afternoon catching up. 
Overall good times, though we're happy to be back home and resting up. It was great to be able to drive through the countryside in OH and see the beautiful trees, and farmland. I do miss that scenery. And, I'm gonna say it again, Ohio does fall better than West Texas. I'll have to work on changing that.

Oh my gosh! Is that Pierce sitting down on the right in that picture of JC and your mom in the kitchen? Such a JC Jr it was freakin' me out!
I'm glad you all had a good time hanging out together and eating good food - a staple of a get together. ;)
Pierce is in front of my mom with the curly hair, and Abe is next to JC with the straight hair. And that's little Ruthie with her back to the camera. They're a trip, and so much fun to watch grow up.
